My placement is going alright so far in terms of the orientation and different areas I've become involved in. Most everyone there is friendly with me and knows me by name (though I don't know all of theirs). It is a very welcoming and supportive place.
The main reason for my relative silence is that an issue has arisen for me that I didn't completely expect. I can't get into the details just yet, but possibly in the future. Sorry for the tease, but at the least, I wanted to offer at least something to explain my absence.
I hope to write some more about the work that I am doing very soon. These first few weeks are filled with so much information that I don't know what to go with yet. It's all a blur right now.
I read a blogging manifesto once. One of the rules was "never apologize for not blogging." There's no expectation for you to post often. I think that generates a lot of contrived content. Blog when you need to blog; blog when you're ready. Don't apologize if you don't have any time. Your readers don't hold it against you; don't hold it against yourself.
ReplyDeleteThank you for that. The more I think about it, the more I agree. :)
ReplyDeleteBut no teasing!
ReplyDeleteKeep it or spill it! GEEZ....
=)
ok, i'll guess...you're getting married, right?
ReplyDeleteNo, no...I'm already married. But that certainly would (and did) keep me really busy.
ReplyDeleteReas is right that I shouldn't have teased. It's a bit too soon to talk about it for me. I should have shut my little fingers.
