So my title today is supposed to say "Welcome to my blog! Hope you enjoy it!" in another language. Whether the translation came through, I am just not sure. To know why it's named this, read on...
I was just poking around my visit counter and saw that visits were WAY up. Apparently, I got a link from at least a somewhat popular site that's made my visits multiply...well, a lot. The thing is that it's a Hungarian site and I have no idea what they're saying about me!
Here's the page the link is on: http://index.hu/tech/net/ngyr081128/ And here's the paragraph where I'm linked from:
I've thrown it through translators and everything, but I'm not getting anywhere!
Hehe, blogging is a lot of fun sometimes. Often for reasons you have no plans for!

ReplyDeleteYou can translate it: http://www.webforditas.hu/forditas.php?show=textTab&lang=english
ReplyDeleteThe article is about neonomads, home office, netcafe => anti-social life
The automatic translation of the title of this entry is actually so bad and so funny that at first I thought that it was written by a human to send up translation software :). Actually it should read something like this: "Üdvözlöm a blogomba, remélem élvezni fogja!", though it doesn't matter at all.
ReplyDeleteAs Tamas said the article was about neonomadism and you were referred to in the section that talked about the dangers of it. The section starts with describing the problem that it's even hard to go out to the toilet because you can't be sure that your valuables will be around when you come back and then points out the dangers of the separation and that's where your blog is referred to.
Interesting. That's definitely something I'll look into. Thanks for explaining. And yeah, I thought the translation would probably be off. :p
ReplyDeleteI wish I could help with the translation but it's funny what turns up with these blogs, huh? It's one of the things that keeps my interest piqued!
ReplyDeleteYou're a DANGER, Anti! Wear it proud!
